About Lauren Sanderson
Lauren Sanderson, NP, is a certified nurse practitioner at West County Rheumatology in Saint Louis, Missouri, where she’s worked since 2018. With nearly eight years of nursing experience, Lauren provides comprehensive care to patients from all backgrounds.
Lauren received her bachelor of science in nursing in 2012 after graduating summa cum laude. During her time in school, Lauren received the coveted Alice McEwen Nursing Scholarship and joined the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, as well as the Nurse's Student Association.
Shortly after graduating, Lauren pursued her master of science in nursing from the University of Missouri St. Louis. In 2018, she graduated with a concentration in adult-gerontology.
Lauren has diverse experience in all areas of nursing, including OB/GYN care, mental health evaluations and psychiatric treatments, full physical exams, chronic and acute illness management, and neurologic and oncology medicine. At West County Rheumatology, she treats connective tissue diseases, autoimmune and immunologic disorders, metabolic bone diseases, and more.
As a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner, Lauren is Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified and is a member of the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She also belongs to the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
